"Money Talks"

​ A film about women's tales of financial survival wherein their toil is often invisible with nationalities featured ranging from Ireland to Iran.  
Projected onto a frame "Money Talks" formed part of the "Out of Circulation" Exhibition by North London female collective GDP. It works in tandem with the other art in the exhibition, both sculpture and embroidered statements which address the invisible and visible elements that go to make our economy and thus our GDP.  Out of Circulation was chosen to form part of the Islington Exhibits borough wide art exhibition . Length: 18 mins.

Sep 2013

In September 2013 Nadya's  poetry installation "Take Away"  was chosen along with 12 other artists from the  Islington Exhibits show to take part in the "Women's Work" Exhibition run by Rowan Arts 
At:  Resource for London
356 Holloway Road, London N7 6PA
12th September - 31st October 2013

Work on show was by emergent and established Islington artists exploring women's cultural, social, political and domestic lives.

July 2013

Nadya's first poetry installation was chosen as part of  Islington Exhibits and displayed at the restaurant Medcalf's art space at 38 Exmouth Market, EC1 R 4QE. The exhibition consisted of 6 female artists who Nadya works with to form the collective entitled  GDP. 
The work on display ranged from sculpture, printmaking, video, photography, embroidery &  poetry to performance
The exhibition was initially for one week in July but was popular with the restaurant and so was  extended until 31st August 2013
