'Just half a Cup'
DIRECTED BY NADYA MAHDI Screened at the 2008 Real Screen Islington festival, which was themed about home and what it means. "Just Half a Cup" is the story of Noreen Curley (aka Baby Curley). A film by her granddaughter, Nadya Mahdi. A study of why Baby Curley abandoned her homeland, Ireland, to live in England in the 1930's and why, despite living in the UK for nearly 70 years, she never really viewed the UK as her home. The film was shot over a period of 10 years to honour her memory. 'Money Talks'
